Abundant Life

Warm weather has arrived, the beauty of Spring surrounds me and lifts my spirit.  I enjoy being outside in the lovely weather, checking on my flowers and listening to the birds sing.  I search through magazines and begin making lists of all the plants I want to have in my garden.

I find the older I get the more I seem to appreciate the beauty and splendor of nature, things that as a child I took for granted.  To look for the positive aspects of life is a choice we make each day.”This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118:24)  There will always be problems and disappointments, but God’s Word promises us that “in  all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28) Trusting God’s promises is often challenging, only seeing part of the picture requires us to depend upon God instead of ourselves.

As we grow in in God’s grace and love, let us commit to reading His Word each day, obeying His commands, and claiming His promises in our lives.  Yes, the enemy will seek to wound or destroy us, but in Christ’s might, we will be victorious!  “The thief cometh not but to steal and to kill and to destroy; I come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)  That is what I want, life more abundantly, life to it’s fullest!  “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13)

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–put it into practice.  And the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:8-9)

  1. The human history is deticped with stories of False prophets, Divine incarnations. As a member of the Jewish heirarchy pointed out to the council, all those people and their doctrines had disappeared along with them swiftly. He advised restraint in the case of Jesus and His doctines as time would tell if it was true.It has been proven to be true and Divine through two thousand years by signs and wonders in every believer’s life and two billion believers are witnessing
